UNI LAMP BONE ASH

Functioning as both an illuminated object and sculpture, the Uni Lamp balances traditional ceramic techniques with contemporary tools. The form and woven pattern are conceived and digitally modeled by the artist, where every detail is intentionally considered. The lamp is then brought to life in ceramic clay through additive printing techniques, and as it emerges, the artist continuously shapes and refines its contours by hand. A custom, mold-fitted glass dome, hand-blown in New York, rests above to complete the piece.

Every MIOS work is made to order and inherently one of a kind. Variations in form, texture, and glaze are intrinsic to the ceramic process and embraced as part of each piece’s individuality. No two works are identical, and these distinctions are celebrated as central to MIOS’s character.
