Custom Orders

We accept custom requests and provide quotes for personalized commissions. Customizations may include glaze finish, sizing adjustments, or other design details. Please reach out to discuss your project and we’ll guide you through the process. All sales are final.

Studio Visits

If you would like to see the work before purchasing, we invite you to schedule a visit to our Brooklyn studio or arrange a private virtual viewing.

Care

MIOS pieces are designed to be lived with and treasured. Each work is crafted in ceramic, finished by hand, and requires gentle care to preserve its surface and integrity over time.

  • Ceramic Surfaces: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may scratch or dull the glaze.
  • Glazes: Subtle shifts in tone and finish are natural to the ceramic process. Do not expose glazed surfaces to prolonged moisture.
  • Lighting Components: For lamps, use the recommended bulb type and wattage. Always unplug before cleaning.
  • Glass Domes: Clean with a microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh or ammonia-based cleaners that may affect the finish.
  • Placement: Place pieces on stable surfaces, away from direct impact or sudden temperature changes. Though durable, ceramics remain fragile if mishandled.

Each MIOS object is made to endure as both a functional design and a sculptural work. With proper care, these pieces will retain their distinct presence for years to come.

Shipping & Delivery

All MIOS works are made to order. Lead times vary depending on the product. Please refer to each product page for estimated production timelines. Shipping or delivery begins once your piece has been completed in the studio.

  • Local Delivery (NYC, 5 boroughs): Complimentary local delivery is available. We will reach out to schedule once your piece is ready. Signature required.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air and Ground (Domestic): Ships after your piece’s lead time. Fully insured with signature required upon delivery.
  • UPS Worldwide Express (International): Ships after your piece’s lead time. Customers are responsible for all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees, which will be collected by the carrier prior to delivery.
  • White-Glove Courier (Select Cities): Scheduled, hand-carried delivery with signature handoff. Pricing is quoted separately after purchase. We will contact you directly to provide a quote and arrange delivery.
  • Packaging: All items are carefully wrapped and inspected prior to shipment to ensure safe arrival.

Damages

In the rare event that a piece is damaged during transit, please notify us within 5 business days of delivery. We require photographs of both the packaging and the item so we can assist with your claim and coordinate next steps.

Warranty

MIOS products are covered by a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, installation, or natural material variation. Repairs or replacements are provided at MIOS’s discretion.

Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. If an order is returned due to incorrect address information, re-shipment fees may apply.
