MIOS (Made In Our Studio) is a sculptural lighting and design studio based in New York City. Founded by Ukrainian artist Renata G. and a team of longtime creative collaborators, the studio explores the relationship between material, process, and form through a language of quiet precision and expressive structure.

With a background in painting and sculpture, Renata approaches each piece as an artist. Her practice is deeply rooted in material exploration and shaped by a commitment to both tradition and experimentation. Every work is designed and produced entirely in-house using digital modeling, ceramic 3D printing, hand-finishing, and kiln firing.

Working primarily in porcelain and stoneware, MIOS often creates surfaces that resemble woven textiles or coiled fiber, challenging perceptions of what clay can do. This process reflects the studio’s material-forward philosophy and its interest in digital fabrication as a form of slow, intentional making.

The studio’s aesthetic, referred to as New Mid Century, builds on the reinvention-driven spirit of 20th-century design. Sculptural clarity, subtle texture, and process-led form converge to create pieces that are designed to live comfortably in residential interiors, galleries, and commercial spaces.
